The AKG K 912 are cordless headphones built to work in a wide variety of environments. Using a PLL synthesizer tuner a strong transmission from the base is sent to the headphones that penetrates walls and ceilings, and an automatic frequency control allows the system to work around interference.

    Anonymous: i am not sure if you did already find the answer but you have to use some sort of gentle strong pull on the ear pads (not the soft parts) around on the frame and pull them out! one on each side!

    just a question though! are you happy with them? i kind of hate the fact that there is there is some kind of a sound when in silent (as if you are operating an old tape type player when there is no recording to play!!!)
