An upgrade from the Audio Technica ATH-ES7, the ATH-ESW9A supports a higher sensitivity (32 ohms versus 32 ohms) and a superior sensitivity (103dB versus 100dB). The ESW9A, however, maintains the ES7’s 42 mm Neodymium driver, 1000 mW maximum input power, and 5Hz-35kHz frequency response. The ATH-ESW9A also features soft earpads for comfortable listening, a 3.5” mm mini stereo gold-plated connector, and an included protective pouch. In addition, the ATH-ESW9A also folds for compact portability. The powerful Audio Technica ATH-ESW9A is priced at $279.95, exactly $110 over its weaker predecessor, the ATH-ES7.
