The ATH-SQ5ABK, however, maintains the ATH-FC700A’s 40 mm driver, but includes a copper clad aluminum wire voice coil designed to deliver impactful sound. The ATH-FC700A also features earpieces that turn 90 degrees horizontally and 180 degrees vertically, not to mention generally cushioned earpads and a headband configured for long-wearing comfort. The Audio Technica ATH-SQ5ABK is priced at $99.95, approximately $40 greater than its predecessor, the ATH-FC700A.
