Audio Technica ATH-WM5

$80.00 Released November, 2007

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Cord retracts back into the headphones well, makes it easier to store them. Fold up into a small enough size to fit into a jacket pocket. Mids and highs are very clear and well defined.

The Cons:Bass is a bit weaker than the average set of headphones. Cable wears out after a few months, often detaches from teh audio jack. Need to turn the volume up pretty far on your MP3 player, drawins the batteries.

The Audio Technica ATH-WM5 is a portable retractable headphone designed to deliver Audio-Technica’s famous sonic clarity. A change in venue from other Technica portable headphones, the ATH-WM5 features an auto-rewinding cord for tangle-free storage, a closed-back design for isolation from ambient noise, and a specially designed 30 mm driver meant to project crystal clear sound.

In addition, the ATH-WM5 includes a swivel-enabled and foldable housing for compact storage and maximum portability, not to mention a gold-plated mini-plug for exceptional corrosion resistance and superb conductivity.
