The QuietComfort 2 has a lightweight design and around ear fit for the user's comfort, as well as fold flat design that allows for transportation. The Triport acoustic headphone structure contains tiny vents in each earpiece to create a balanced sound in a lightweight headphone. Also, the Bose QuietComfort 2 headphone includes a single, detachable audio cable making the headphone useful for listening, noise reduction or both.
