The bluetooth functionality of the headset is HSP/HFP compliant, sticking to the global standard so that most bluetooth enabled phones can connect to it. The bluetooth stereo is A2DP compliant, meaning it can receive stereo music from any bluetooth device such as a mobile phone, PC, BLuetooth adapter, MP3 player, or any other device that is A2DP compliant. In case there is a device that doesn't support bluetooth, the Philips SHB9000/97 comes with a corded option to let the consumer play music from anything they might own.
