Pioneer HDJ-1000 Limited Edition

The Pioneer HDJ-1000 Limited Edition is an upper mid-cost set of DJ headphones. These headphones are tuned to deliver more impact in the bass frequencies than previous models. The diaphragm of these headphones is 38 micrometers (thicker than traditional DJ headphones).

The diaphragm combined with the 1.5 mm voice coil are efficient in producing midrange and mid-bass frequencies, and offer a linear response even at high volumes. Cymbals, bass drums and snare drums come out with impact on the HDJ-1000 Limited Edition headphones thanks to the mono/stereo selector circuit, which is geared toward clear playback in the midrange frequencies. These headphones use low rebound urethane for the ear pads, which provides a comfortable fit, even over long sessions.
