Sennheiser HE90
$14,900.00
Released January, 2002
The Pros:Considered among the best sounding headphones to date. A milestone in the art of headphone manufacture. Extremely durable and long-lasting.
The Cons:Most expensive headphones ever produced. Not very portable. Like all electrostatic headphones, bass punch is lacking.
Considered the pinnacle of headphone listening, the Sennheiser HE90 is a rare high-end electrostatic headphone. Originally sold as part of the Sennheiser Orpheus system, bundled with a high-end valve (electric tube) amplifier.
