Sony DR-BT160
$130.00
Released January, 2008
The Pros:Mic quality is good, other end can hear you well. Wireless function works great, doesn't tend to cut out. Battery lasts a long time before it runs out, can reliably get about 7 hours out of it.
The Cons:Feels a bit awkward when you move your head, balance of the ear pieces takes a little getting used to. Fast forward and reverse don't work with iPhones or all iPods. Some signal loss due to the limited bandwidth of Bluetooth.
Sony's DR-BT160 is a higher-end set of wireless Bluetooth headphones, designed for both everyday and exercise use. They features a behind-the head support and built-in controls that work with compatible Bluetooth devices to reduce the need to touch the actual music player during a workout.

This set is also compatible with mobile phones and includes a built-in microphone for wireless conversations (as long as the phone is Bluetooth compatible). The earbuds have soft bullet-shaped cups that form a seal inside the ear, and the headset is balanced to be more comfortable and consistent when exercising. The headphones charge via USB cable and have about 7 hours of continuous playback time, with a battery indicator. The drivers have a 6Hz - 23kHz frequency response and use 30mm dome drivers.
