Sony MDRXB300

$149.00 Released January, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Thick pads are very comfortable, prevent any pinching at all. Great price for the quality of sound. Bass is strong, great for pounding beats.

The Cons:Mids and treble get overwhelmed by the bass. Cord is only 3 feet long, which can be a little tight for taller people.

The Sony MDRXB300 is a lightweight XB series headphone with ultra-thick pressure-relieving 30mm (thickness) cushions for unbeatable comfort. The third of five models in the Sony XB series, the MDRXB300 changes pace from its predecessors (the MDRXB20EX and MDRXB40EX) in that it switches from an ear-bud design to an around-ear frame instead.
